It's not compulsary that i have to go to dataran n watch d celebration and it doesn't means that if i stay at home and sleep, i dont no the meaning of 'Merdeka'.
For what i have to go to dataran?? To show that i'm very patriotik person. They are many ways to show that we are patriotik person. It not necessary that we have to goto dataran.
In my opinion we can celebrate 'Merdeka' from anywhere!!! Even at home also we can celebrate n watch the celebration.

Imagine should that happen ! Its like having a parade during curfew with only those directly involved out in the streets.
Without prejudice, I think its ok to encourage others to watch the parade - for whatever reason. BUT--of course it would be better far better if Malaysians fill the crowd rather than the tourist or other foreigners.
In a way it is a show of patriotism in some way. Imagine the late Tungku declaring our independance in an empty stadium because all the patriots are celeberating and welcoming it at home.
By the way for valid reason, I would not be going to the parade. But in my younger days , I would not, if I could missed such a thing.
yeah... during young time like this... the experience is important.. so better use this opportunities especially for those who are first time celebrating national day in K.L like me.. heheheh
maybe my mother could see me through tv in my house.. hehehe
poyo lagi ko helas...haha..everyone soo buzy with merdeka..huh...ever think about the theme? 'perpaduan membawa kejayaan' somethin like that....have u got anything to say about it..regarding to what our country situation now?????hehehe

we can count the people who raised their flag on their car or veheicle . . what you can see a lot of politics party flags are raised everyday.. huhuhuhu

in my hometown... it is easy for me to borrow(curi) the national flag, it raise every where.hehehe.. after that i will raise in my house..
seems like hard to borrow the flag here, because only the politics party flag are available.. huhuuhu

Huh, 'perpaduan teras kejayaan'. I don't thing malaysia citizen have it. plus a lot of crime has grow everyday in our country,so, where's the 'perpaduan'.

Yes, u are right aremat!!! Nowadays no 'perpaduan' among our malaysian people but not all malasyian only certain people.
